In June, I was invited to a residency out in Moffat, CO run by artist-spouse-duo Corianne and Kristopher Wright. They purchased a property in the San Luis Valley called “Six Point Ranch,” and offered this residency as an extension of their arts organization, Odessa Nomadic. It was great to get away from the city and back into the mountains for a few days! I dusted off my plein air skills and painted three 20x30” paper pieces, and worked on a year-long project that involves a lot of 3x3” mini paintings. It was restful, productive, and I didn’t have to cook a single meal. Thanks again Corianne & Kristopher!
I am pleased to announce that I am the February recipient of a Pikes Peak Arts Council microgrant award!

Fantastic article in the CSU Liberal Arts magazine about how fellow grad Kyle Singer and I worked with artist David Brooks for his installation at the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art, “Case Study: Weld County, CO.” It was really an honor to work with David on this project.
